Responsibilities:

The assistant accountant provides accounting support and handles operational accounting tasks. As an assistant accountant, you usually work in a team and report to the chief accountant.

  • You record purchase and sales invoices, bank statements, and expense reports.
  • You prepare payments.
  • You reconcile suppliers and customers.
  • You provide support with preparing VAT returns (monthly or quarterly).

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management (Accountancy & Taxation), Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics (TEW), or Finance.
  • You are administratively strong, accurate, and enjoy structured work.
  • Knowledge of IFRS is a plus.
  • According to Insights Discovery, you have a predominantly blue profile.

Salary:

€2,330 to €3,670 gross, depending on experience, age, and employer-specific fringe benefits and sector.
