Responsibilities:

As a Business Controller, you support the business with targeted analyses and reports of financial data and business information. You advise management and the board.

  • You conduct insightful analyses of profitability, return on investment, and cash flow impairments.
  • You prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • You challenge the budgets of financial and non-financial processes.
  • You guarantee accurate financial reporting in various business-related projects.
  • You research industry trends as needed.

You not only have a supporting role, but also play a key role in optimizing financial processes. Of course, this is always done within the boundaries of corporate policies.

Profile:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, economics (TEW), finance, or commercial engineering.
  • You are highly analytical and maintain a helicopter view.
  • You have an excellent command of Excel (pivot tables, macros, and power pivots).
  • You are proficient with ERP packages and BI (Business Intelligence) for reporting.
  • You communicate clearly and deliver your message in a non-technical, yet concrete way.
  • You collaborate closely with your own team and colleagues in accounting and the departments for which you are responsible (sales & marketing, supply chain, purchasing).
  • According to Insights Discovery, you have a predominantly red/yellow profile.

Salary:

€4,890 to €7,220 gross, depending on experience, age, and fringe benefits specific to the employer and sector.
