Responsibilities:

As a Chief Accountant, you are responsible for monitoring, reconciling, and analyzing balance sheets and reporting to the finance manager or controlling manager.

  • You monitor payments and accruals.
  • You prepare and review financial statements.
  • You support internal and external audits.
  • You provide ad hoc accounting advice for efficient financial management.
  • You monitor cash flow, the financial operating result, and the annual accounts.
  • You manage the accountants and are ultimately responsible for the company’s entire accounting system.

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management (Accountancy & Taxation), Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics (TEW), Finance, or Commercial Engineering.
  • IAB or BIBF status is a plus.
  • You are analytical.
  • You are thoroughly familiar with accounting rules and help prepare the annual accounts.
  • You are accurate and enjoy structured work.
  • You communicate effectively at various levels.
  • You possess excellent people management skills.
  • Knowledge of IFRS is a plus.
  • According to Insights Discovery, you have a predominantly blue or red profile.

Salary:

€3,780 to €8,550 gross, depending on experience, age, and fringe benefits specific to the employer and sector.
