Cost Controller

Responsibilities:

As a cost controller, you coordinate the budgetary processes for various production aspects, such as labor and materials.

  • You keep a close eye on all costs and analyses.
  • You ensure that all processes comply with SOX or other standards.
  • You know all the secrets behind allocation keys.
  • You have an affinity for business and an analytical mind.
  • You create analyses and reports on all possible variances in production costs.
  • You are responsible for the month-end and year-end closings for all production activities, from inventory to fixed and variable costs.

Profile:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, economics (TEW), finance, or commercial engineering.
  • You have experience within a production unit.
  • You are highly analytical and maintain a helicopter view.
  • You are proficient in Excel (pivot tables, macros, and power pivots).
  • You are proficient with ERP packages and BI (Business Intelligence) for reporting.
  • You have strong communication skills to explain complex matters in an understandable way.
  • You are comfortable with reporting tools, consolidating, and interpreting figures.
  • Experience with activity-based costing is a plus.
  • According to Insights Discovery, you have a predominantly blue profile.

Salary:

€3,810 to €6,890 gross, depending on experience, age, and fringe benefits specific to the employer and sector.
